The report highlights the concept of the new museum as a part of the Museum complex of the Nizhny-Novgorod State University.

The Science Museum "Nizhny Novgorod Radio Laboratory" will become a regional multifunctional center in the cultural, scientific, and educational space of Nizhny-Novgorod region and will aim at displaying Nizhny-Novgorod, Russian and international scientific achievements to all layers of the regional society using vivid and bright innovational forms of presentation. In Nizhny-Novgorod region there is a lack of museums of the type described above despite existing needs. Development of a Science Museum and its effective functioning is possible only on the basis of such an integrated and specialized educational and research institution as the University.
