The paper deals with different approaches to the Internet as a creative work. It also introduces author's teaching experience of courses "Multimedia Technologies" and "Internet Resources and Services in Sociocultural Field" at Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. In addition the Internet is considered by the author as an educational tool, which allows to improve the process of education. Some student's projects, including foreign postgraduate, will be presented.
