The Informational Learning System "The Educational process" of distance education of RSU

In the article the Informational Learning System (ILS) "The Educational Process" of distance education of RSU is represented. The system is constructed on principles of a virtual educational institution and oriented on personal training. The program complex "The Educational Process" is consisted of the following units: the system kernel, the unit of the Web-interface of users, the unit of the reporting and circulation of documents, the unit of job processing, the unit of interoperability with similar systems. At this point system kernel and the unit of the Web-interface of users are written. ILS "The Educational Process" is realized on the basis of relational database. The system has the conceptual scheme of a database and at its expansion this scheme of a database is localized depending on a selected DBMS. For implementation of the unit of interoperability with similar distance learning systems the IMS consortium guidelines were taken where the XML formats of the data interchange between distance learning systems are described.
