The report presents the regional project that aims at creating an information system "Ethnography of Nizhny Novgorod district". The project is in the stage of its implementation and at the moment reaches the interregional stage of development. The technology implementation of the project is oriented toward developing an integrated information system as an integrated complex of regional databases that contain descriptions of a wide spectrum of ethnic, national, and confessional characteristics of Nizhny-Novgorod region.
