Parallel programming is a very difficult problem. Many tasks must be solved for creation of efficient parallel programs. We have developed Testing polygon (http://parallel.ru/polygon/) as one way in helping users to understand and solve such tasks. Using web-interface, everyone can run a suite of specially developed tests on computational clusters of SRCC and detect the base characteristics of parallel programs. Based on this information the user can choose the most suitable algorithm and communication schemes for particular task on available computational platform.
